The short version: the contact form collects only what John needs to reply to you, and nothing is sold or used for marketing.
What the form collects
Your name, work email, and organization, plus anything else you choose to share: your role, organization type, the topics you’re interested in, portfolio size, timeline, and your message. The form never asks for phone numbers, budgets, or sensitive personal data.
How it’s used
Only to read and reply to your inquiry. Your details aren’t added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else.
Who handles it
Submissions are delivered by email through IONOS, which hosts this site and its email. Nobody else receives them.
Pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers.
How long it’s kept
Inquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and deleted within two years if no working relationship follows. To limit abuse, the form keeps a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your IP address for up to one hour. Like most web hosts, IONOS keeps standard server logs.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts.
Deleting your information
Email john@johntauchus.com and ask, and your messages will be deleted.
